Artist's Comments

My second try at Vincent from FF7, used ballpoint pen, sortof skecthy, done in 3 hours. Trying to keep drawings free flowing. Vincent Valentine is copyright of Square Enix or something like that.

Really nice. Especially for ballpoint pen. :)

Wow! What a simply beautiful portrait of Vincent! The style is absolutely perfect. That great, dark, sketchy feel... it all suits his personally so well. The technique and form is fantastic - you caught such subtle details as the squinting fold under his eyes and the absolutely gorgeous hair, but you don't kill the portrait with nitty-gritty details - I admire that balance. So beautiful - you don't even have to be a Final Fantasy fan to enjoy it! Kudos, and keep up the great work! :D

Thankyou! I was suggested to use ballpoint pen once from an art student, he said that it makes you draw lighter, and draw less incorrect lines. I suggest anyone to try it, but at first, always keep the white out on hand...again thankyou, and you keep up the great work!
